The new Chevy Silverado’s available forward-collision alert monitors the vehicle in front of you and alerts you if a front-end collision is imminent. If you fail to respond, the available automatic emergency braking engages to slow the vehicle down and mitigate damages. In IIHS testing, this feature avoided a collision at speeds of up to 25 mph.
Lane-Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
With the available lane departure warning, the new Chevy Silverado can detect unintentional lane drifting. If the system detects drifting, it will alert you with visual and audio cues while lane-keep assist will provide gentle adjustments to help you stay in your lane.
Side Blind-Zone Alert
Using radar, the new Chevy Silverado’s available side blind-zone alert detects when a vehicle has entered your blind spot and alerts you with a visual indicator on the corresponding side-view mirror.
Adaptive Cruise Control
